New UI and workflow for batch update
New batch mode dialog
The new UI of the Batch Update function supports an easier workflow to get to your update results.
The new design guides you through the required steps
- Define the configuration to be used
- Specify the location of the objects that shall be updated
- Use sophisticated filter mechanisms to make your selection easier
- Select the intended objects from the list
- Update the selected objects
The new Advanced filter dialog
The Advanced filters dialog was also redesigned to improve the user experience.
The new dialog guides you through the following steps:
- Choose the type of the intended attribute (Model parameter or Windchill object attribute)
- Enter name and value of the attribute and choose an operator
- Choose if the entered rule shall exclude or include the results in the selection
- Add this requirement to the selection list
